Arrow-Straight F.J.™ Shutter Components and North American Sunburst™ Shutters Enhance Western Exposure

May 17, 2002: The need for a large, high-quality wood shutter components supplier in the Western United States has not gone unnoticed by Glen Oak Lumber & Milling. Headquartered in Montello, Wisconsin, with established distribution centers in Atlanta, Georgia and Naples, Florida, the highly regarded manufacturer of wood mouldings, boards and hardwood flooring successfully added shutter parts to its production line-up in December.

The Arrow-Straight F.J.™ poplar shutter components produced in Glen Oak’s Kentucky mills are quickly becoming the new standard for plantation shutter manufacturers east of the Missouri River. Shutter fabricators in the Western US had little or no access to these products, until now.

Glen Oak is committed to developing the market in the Western states and recently expanded its sales team to include California-based sales professional Will Riegel. Formerly vice president of sales and marketing for The Pacific Lumber Co. (PALCO), Riegel has three decades of wood products experience.
