Glen
Oak adds Closet Builder storage systems to product offering
Montello,
Wisconsin
July 20, 2006:
Glen Oak Lumber
& Milling customers can now add professional grade closet
and storage system components to their deliveries of other
quality products for home interiors. As of May 2006, Closet
Builder precision-crafted components are manufactured for
Glen Oak Lumber by Space-Metrics USA, LLCa Glen Oak
subsidiary located near the growing conglomerate's corporate
headquarters in Montello, Wisconsin.
Closet Builder components are produced in durable ¾"-thick
thermofused melamine and are suitable for home or commercial
use. Available in white, maple and cherry finishes, the professional
grade systems' shelves and vertical panels come in 12"
and 16" depths. The panels are hole-drilled on a 32mm
system which facilitates easy installation, plus flexibility
in planning and design. Solid 5/8"-thick melamine drawers
with a flat face or moulded profile come in white or maple
in 18", 21", 24" and 30" widths, three
heights and 16" depth, to maximize storage space. Components
can be combined in numerous ways to create a custom storage
solution for every room of the home.
Glen Oak's storage systems can be floor mounted or wall mounted.
A patented wall-mount system uses full-metal brackets and
a laminate rail for easy installation, good looks and strength.
The Closet Builder product line also includes adjustable chrome
steel hanging rods and a good selection of accessories, such
as baskets, drawer dividers, tie racks, etc. The entire program
is a natural complement to the hardwood products Glen Oak
has been selling to building material dealers since 1981.
"A number of our customers are eager to capitalize on
the emerging closet and home organization market," explains
Glen Oak CEO Tom Talbot about why Glen Oak has expanded into
components for customized closets, pantries, mudrooms and
more. "In addition to our Closet Builder products, we
offer a dealer training program that can jump-start our customers
in the closet industrymaking them an ever greater resource
to their own customers."
